Mani Haqiqi to direct ‘Subtraction’

Renowned Iranian actor/director is slated to direct new film project ‘Subtraction’.

Produced by Majid Motallebi, the shooting of the film will kick off soon.

The script of ‘Subtraction’ has been co-written by Haqiqi and Amir-Reza Kouhestani.

Haqiqi’s previous directorial experience was ‘Pig’ which attracted the attention of the audience.
Haqiqi’s most recent appearance on ifilm was in the role of a doctor in Rambod Javan’s ‘No Men Allowed’.

Winner of the Crystal Simorgh for Best Original Screenplay for his 2005 film ‘Men at Work’, Haqiqi was also awarded the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) prize at the Asian Film Festival.
