Iranian ‘Symphony No.9’ outs new BTS

Iranian all-star movie ‘Symphony No.9’ has published a new behind-the-scenes teaser.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, the feature length movie that is currently in Iranian theaters has released BTS footage containing scenes related to the film stars being made up.

‘Symphony No.9’ tells the story of a surgeon named Rahil who has lost her spouse during an operation. To fulfill her husband’s last wish which is to be buried in a far away village, she sets off on journey. On the way, Rahil meets up with the angle of death (Azrael) but instead of leaving her life to the hands of the angle, Azrael falls in love with her.

Some of the movie characters such as Cyrus the Great, the Achaemenid-Persian king, and his eldest son Bardiya are the ones from ancient Iranian history.

Notable among the cast members of the flick are Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Pejman Bazeghi, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Sareh Bayat, Hamid Farrokhnejad, and Hoda Zeinolabedin.
