Photo report from 22nd Int’l Storytelling Festival

Here is a photo report from the 22nd Int’l Storytelling Festival.

ifilm website has published a photo report from the 22nd International Storytelling Festival in Tehran.

The final stage of the 2019 edition of the festival has started on December 17 and is currently underway in Tehran at the Center for Cultural and Artistic Creations of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.

The festival’s puppet carnival runs a course from Hijab Street to Laleh Park twice a day, in the mornings and evenings.

With the motto for this year’s festival being “The Future is Constructible”, the event is divided into two sections of “Stage Storytelling” and “90-second Story (Film)”.

The “Stage Storytelling” section of the festival consists of a national and international competition.

Volunteers from various countries along with a selection of winners from previous festivals and professional narrators are eligible to participate at the festival’s international competition.

A portion of the “Stage Storytelling” is dedicated to classical and traditional storytelling and another portion is dedicated to modern and innovative storytelling.

Single narrative storytelling in a 15-minute timeframe while being filmed in a long shot is among the requirements in order to participate at the “Stage Storytelling” competition.

The final stage of the event has been slated for December 17-21, 2019.
