ifilm exclusive report on Iranian feature ‘Tornado’

ifilm English TV has published an exclusive report on Iranian Feature ‘Tornado’ produced and directed by Seyyed-Javad Hashemi.

ifilm has interviewed the stage designer Ali Shayanfar, visual effects specialist Reza Najafi-Emami, music composer Behnam Sabouhi and the director Hashemi.

The actors Abbas Jamshidifar, Arsalan Qasemi, Amir-Reza Ahmadi, Mehdi Irani, and Rastin Azizpour are also among the interviewees.

The movie was initially expected to get ready in time for the 37th Fajr Film Festival; however the filmmakers decided to prepare it for the next summer instead.

Created for teenage audiences, the film’s storyline is about a professor who starts his own restaurant which ultimately turns into a spaceship.

A group of troublemaking teens come along, causing the spaceship to take off into space, and finally landing on a faraway planet.

Popular actors such as Akbar Abdi, Kamran Tafti, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Arsalan Qasemi and Elnaz Habibi are among the film’s cast.
