ifilm narrates Iran animation for Oscars 2020

Iran is one of the oldest civilizations of the globe teamed with long-lasting, exemplary legends.

Shahnameh is one of the literary works that poet Ferdowsi has gathered these stories in a colossal collection.

Ashkan Rahgozar paid tribute to this masterpiece, selecting one of its stories named Zahak. He beautifully depicted the story in the animated title ‘The Last Fiction’.

Iranian animated movie “The Last Fiction” is among the thirty-two animated features submitted for consideration in the Best Animated Feature Film category of the 92nd Academy Awards.
