'Coconut' actor talks about collab with ‘Texas’ director

'Coconut' actor Alireza Ostadi has opened up about his teaming up with ‘Texas’ director Seyed Davoud Atyabi.

Pointing to the film shoot stage which is currently going on in Tehran, Ostadi said that, “'Coconut' is a puppet musical in realism genre made for children and adolescents specifically.”

“'Coconut' cast team holds the view that children's and family-oriented films have always been overlooked so we have made the attempt to make a movie particularly for this age group,” added Ostadi.  

He also noted that he is offered two new roles for two new movie projects that he will provide the media with further details soon. 

The flick, produced by Seyyed Ebrahim Ameriyan, costars Gholamhossein Lotfi, Bijan Banafshekhah, Alireza Ostadi and Shaqayeq Dehghan.

The producer’s previous offerings include works such as ‘Texas’ and its sequel "Texas 2" as well as ‘Dynamite’.
