Fajr Film Festival announces 2020 short film lineup

The organizers of the 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival (FFF) have announced the lineup of short films.

The selection committee of the festival selected the following ten short films to take part at the competition section of the 38th FFF:

1. ‘Occupation’ - Director, producer: Ali Azizi

2. ‘Exam’ - Director: Sonia K. Hadad, Producer: Pouriya Heydari

3. ‘White Wandering Snows’ - Director, producer: Mohammad-Reza Vatandoust

4. ‘Red Panda’ - Director: Ali Paknia, Producer: Mahbod Abghari

5. ‘Dabur’ - Director, producer: Saeed Nejati

6. ‘Dragon’s Tail’- Director: Saeed Keshavarz, Producer: Mehdi Safiyari

7. ‘The Feast of the Goat’ - Director: Saeed Zamanian, Producer: Hassan Mohammadi

8. ‘Dear’ - Director, producer: Seyyed-Mehdi Mousavi

9. ‘The Alley’ - Director: Mohammad-Reza Mesbah, Producer: Amir-Hossein Mehr

10. ‘The Snowy Mother’ - Director: Marjan Khosravi, Producer: Seyyed-Shahaboddin Tabatabaee

Established in 1982, the FFF is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.Since its establishment, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 38th FFF is set to kick off on February 1, 2020 and will run till February 11 in Tehran.
