Iranian movie ‘Repression’ has hit home screens.

Directed by Reza Gouran, the movie has entered the domestic market of entertainment.

“He did something that made loyalty our day and night habit. Now, we are all faithful, but the one we are true to has been dead for a long time,” a brief synopsis for the flick reads.

The flick narrates the story of some women who get back to their paternal home and find a place in its cold and spiritless atmosphere.

‘Repression’ is the story of who faced deep dictatorship in for lifetime at home. The house had turned into hell in the past due to the father’s bad behavior; so the children escaped from the house in one way or another to start over.

Roya Afshar, Elham Korda, Pardis Ahmadieh, Baran Kosari, Sara Bahrami, Artin Golchin, Asal Qaraee, and Jamshid Hashempour are notable among the cast members of the film.

‘Repression’ has been selected by the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) in Australia to take part at the competition in November 2019.
