ifilm exclusive report on Iranian feature ‘Tsunami’

ifilm English TV has published an exclusive report on Iranian feature ‘Tsunami’ directed by Milad Sadr-Ameli.

ifilm has interviewed the screenwriter and director Sadr-Ameli, the actor Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari, Iranian world champion in taekwondo Hadi Saei, as well as some cinemagoers.

“An Iranian taekwondo athlete is so drowned in his sport activities and competitions that problems hit his personal life like a tsunami,” a short synopsis of the flick read.

‘Tsunami’ narrates the story of an experienced athlete who wants to regain his previous status.

For his to achieve what he wants, he must face a rising athlete who also is after fame and recognition.

Their confrontations and also their personal lives with their wives make the whole plot of the flick.

Besides Ghaffari, the cast list of the film includes Bahram Radan, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Ali-Reza Shoja-Nouri, Fereshteh Hosseini, Ali-Reza Varzandeh, Amir Shariat, and Amir-Mehdi Juleh.
