‘21 Days Later’ screened at Kolkata Int'l Children’s Film Festival

Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival has hosted Iranian movie ‘21 Days Later’.

The Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival (KICFF) has hosted Iranian movie ‘21 Days Later’.

The movie, directed by Mohammad-Reza Kheradmandan, was screened at the ninth edition of the Indian film event.

‘21 Days Later’ represented Iran at the World Cinema section of the event.

The film’s synopsis reads, “It’s always the same! The last time the sky started getting cloudy, the weather became so wild that the storm could have pulled down the trees. It was pouring rain, the birds were screaming around their nests. One of the guys said he saw the sun flashing dim and light once or twice.”

Starring Sareh Bayat and Hamidreza Azarang, the Iranian film was premiered at the ‘Soda-ye-Simorgh’ section of the 35th edition of Iran’s Fajr Film Festival.

The KICFF is an annual exclusive film festival that focuses on the interests of children.

The event encourages performing arts amongst children.

The 2020 edition of the KICFF is currently underway and will run until January 26.
