In an ifilm exclusive report, screenwriter for hit series 'World Apart' reveals details on the production's original idea and plot.
Masoud Behbahaninia said to ifilm the original idea for the series was born when he looked at the generation gap in society as a social crisis.
"The generation gap is also a social crisis and we should find ways to address this. That is a critical issue here," adding, "I focused on this issue ... turning into a crisis."
He also provided more details on the first scene of the series that clearly shows such gap.
"Our opening sequence in the series shows the father in the mosque doing charity work while his son is on a road trip and gets into a car accident with a bunch of strange girls. The whole situation reveals a lot to the father."
