‘The Men of Angelos’ actor with 2 bullets in back

In an ifilm exclusive report, ‘The Men of Angelos’ actor Reza Iranmanesh talks about how bullets in his body moved on set of the hit series.

The actor is a war veteran injured during Iraq-Iran war, playing a memorable role in hit series 'The Men of Angelos'.

He talked to ifilm about how his old injury made him visit the hospital, adding that actors had to learn fencing to play their roles in ‘The Men of Angelos’.

Farajollah Salahshour's masterpiece is the story of a group of men deeply troubled by the way their faith is being tainted by false beliefs and the spread of atheism. They live in an age when the faithful are going astray.

They try to use their influence to change things, but in the end the men of Angelos are forced to flee rather than surrender to tyranny. They take refuge in a cave outside town and sleep out of exhaustion. The next day or so they wake up in an entirely different era.
