Iran’s short 'Gradual Death' is to vie at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in the US.

The movie directed by Amin Sahraee will be screened at the 9th edition of the American event.

Written and directed by Amin Sahraee, ‘Gradual Death’ is about a segment of the life of a girl in old Tehran.

The film, produced by Iranian Youth Cinema Society, was awarded at the Tehran International Short Film Festival.

The Julien Dubuque International Film Festival is dedicated to enriching the community and bridging cultures through the education and promotion of arts through independent film.

JDIFF acknowledges emerging filmmakers from around the world and supports diverse and cause-related films.

The ninth edition of the event is slated for April 22-26, 2020.
