Iranian films reaps award at Italian Film Days

Iranian films succeeded to grab a total of 9 awards at Italian Film Days.

The 2020 edition of the Italian Film Days in Cyprus bestowed awards on Iranian films in nine different categories.

The event called a pack of 15 final winners among which nine were films made by Iranian cineastes.

Best Documentary: ‘Sarevo’ by Mohammad Abdollah

Best Indie Film: ‘Fourteenth Day’ by Mahmoud Nazeri

Best First Time Director: ‘Nemesis’ by Behzad Jafari

Best Cinematography: ‘Old Man’s Heavy Sleep’ by Mostafa Rostampour

Best Editing: ‘Game Without Zero’ by Mostafa Rostampour

Best Original Score: ‘Redundancy’ by Kayvan Sarvari

Best Actress: ‘Women who Run with Wolves’ by Amir Athar Soheili

Best Actor: ‘Raheel’ by Ayat Asadi Rahbar

Italian Film Days brings Italian films, as well as other titles from around the world, to Cyprus.

The event is organized by the IMAGO Group and the Embassy of Italy in Nicosia.
