March 26 is the national day of theater in Iran and March 27 marks the World Theater Day.
The message for the national day was written by the well-known Iranian theater actor Akbar Zanjanpour; and the message for the World Theater Day was written by the Pakistani actor Shahid Nadeem.
The 2020 World Theater Day is unique in that all the theaters around the world are closed because of the outbreak of the highly contagious coronavirus (COVID19).
So the world theater family is experiencing a unique and strange situation.
The flu-like deadly coronavirus originated in China in late 2019 and later spread to more than 100 other countries around the globe.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the virus a global pandemic.
