ifilm to broadcast ‘Lean on the Wind’ series

Iranian series ‘Lean on the Wind’ has been scheduled to be on the ifilm English Channel’s playlist, the website has reported.

Airing of the series, produced by Hamid-Reza Mahdavi and directed by Mahmoud Moazzami, will start on April 8, 2020.

In the series, Atefeh is going to fill her father's shoes and become a lawyer. She comes across an older businessman who offers her a job and even arranges her accommodation, so she can leave the university dorm and start working for him.

Atefeh desperately wants whatever life has to offer and is ready to do what it takes. Then she starts telling lies and gets more secretive to keep her family in the dark about it all.

Among the cast list are Hadiseh Tehrani, Ashkan Khatibi, Behzad Khodaveisi, Shahram Abdoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Sharareh Dolatabadi, Faramarz Qaribian, Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, Mohammad Omrani, Felor Nazari, and Afsaneh Pakrou in the role of Atefeh.

‘Lean on the Wind’, made in 2012, that will replace the series ‘Special Guests’, is to be broadcast every night at 21:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00. The series comes in 26 episodes.
