Iran famed director invites audiences to VOD screening

Director of many ifilm-screened movies has invited audiences to watch his latest via VOD platforms.

In an online video, he shared his reasons to watch his latest ‘Exit’ via VOD screening, lauding this new platform as a new opportunity for Iranian cinema.

He also said in the footage, people can watch his movie online during the home period in Iran due to the killer virus.  

The decision was made in keeping with the spirit of helping people who have to stay at home due to the coronavirus endemic.

‘Exit’ depicts the story of a group of farmers who travel to the capital in order to voice their concerns to government officials.

The film’s media advisor earlier said to a local new agency that Hatamikia’s ‘Exit’ will be released through VOD platforms prior to public screening in cinemas across Iran.    

The advisor also said the revenue gained through VOD screenings will boost the film’s overall gross as well as keeping people entertained at home.
