Iran’s ‘The Lake of Ghosts’ to be premiered online

Directed by Reza Jafari-Jozani, ‘The Lake of Ghosts’ has been planned to go on online screening after finishing technical process.

Portraying a philosophical and mysterious fiction, ‘The Lake of Ghosts’ is inspired by the poems of the world-known Persian poet Molawi and follows the story of some young investigators who travel to the Ghost Forest in north of Iran in order to discover the secrets of the Ghost Lake.

While there, new calamities take place in odd disasters.

The music for the film has been made by Hessam Banieqbal and the sound mixing is under progress.

The cast list enjoys some new talents such as Maryam Akbari, Hessam Banieqbal, Pegah Hamidifar, Reza Khayyati, Reza Zarei, Nazanin Alidoust, Amir-Hossein Kamjou, Reza Mazandarani and Hadi Yas.

Now that the world is struggling to contain coronavirus outbreak, online screening is a safe mode to bring entertainment to people’s homes.

Global outbreak of the virus has affected film industry and different countries are trying to hold film festivals online or postpone them.
