A new trailer for Iranian movie ‘A House on 41st Street’ has been published on the verge of the film’s release in Iranian cinemas.
Notable among the cast are Mahnaz Afshar and Ali Mostafa.
‘A House on 41st Street’ has received a review from The Hollywood Reporter which described the cast of the film as “well-directed.” The Cannes review also noted “Morteza’s young widow Forough (Mahnaz Afshar) is the most prominent character and the angriest.”
The disintegration of a middle-class family over a murder committed by a brother due to a bounced check, the piece says on the storyline of Hamid-Reza Ghorbani’s film, adding that 'A House on 41st Street' is a drama with a simple start and gradually moves into complex psychology and morality.
‘A House on 41st Street’ was selected to participate in the 40th São Paulo International Film Festival, Brazil. The film was also present in Cannes Film Market 2016.
