Iranian ‘Cold Breath’ to compete in US film festival

Iranian film ‘Cold Breath’ has been scheduled to compete at the 43rd edition of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).

Directed and produced by Abbas Raziji, the film is to be screened at the competition section of the US event as the only representative of Iranian cinema.

‘Cold Breath’ stars Bita Baderan, Majid Mozaffari, Parichehr Riali, Hamideh Barati and Ezzatollah Ramezanifar.

The movie narrates the story of Maryam who has passed the age of thirty along with the hardships that she faces every day.

Screening more than 400 films from around 80 different countries, Seattle International Film Festival is considered one of the most important film events in the US.

The 43rd Annual Seattle International Film Festival is slated for May 18 to June 11, 2017 in Seattle, US.
