Iran’s short ‘There will be Spring’ is to compete at the 2020 ENFOQUE film festival in Puerto Rico.

Iranian short title ‘There will be Spring’ has been selected to compete at the ENFOQUE International Film Festival in Puerto Rico.

Directed by Saeed Bahman, the short title narrates the story of a person tangled in an unusual situation with the pandemic coronavirus disease and the quarantine time.

The only actor of the short film is Kasra Zagros.

Bahman’s short title was previously selected as one of the 22 top films at the international COVID-19 Film Festival which was held online.

Some parts of the short film were screened in the Stories of Humanity program that was broadcasted from Canada’s Media One channel.

It has also been selected to vie at the monthly Berlin Flash Film Festival in Germany that will be held late May.

The ENFOQUE festival aims to raise awareness of the importance of staying at home in the unusual situation of coronavirus outbreak.

The event is dedicated to films that are made in quarantine area.

The latest edition of the festival will be held on May 5, 2020.
