Iran 'Feng Shui' makes US upside down

Iranian short film ‘Feng Shui Upside Down’ is to vie at the Global Impact Film Festival in the US.

Iranian short film ‘Feng Shui Upside Down’ has made it to the Global Impact Film Festival (GIDC) in the United States.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Feng Shui Upside Down’ will compete at the sixth edition of GIDC.

The 15-minute film is written and directed by Zivar Hojjati.

“A mother’s parenting style leads to contradictory results,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The GIDC is a dynamic independent film festival in Washington that showcases short film narratives and short film documentaries that provoke and inspire social change.

According to the fest’s website, the event aims to empower lives by celebrating the power of media for social justice.

The 6th Global Impact Film Festival will take place on August 28-30.
