ifilm to bring ‘21 Days Later’ to you

ifilm is to air award-winning movie ‘21 Days Later’ on Saturday night.

ifilm has scheduled to air the acclaimed movie ‘21 Days Later’ on Saturday night.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Kheradmandan, the movie will be aired on May 16, 2020 at 22:00 GMT.

The TV channel will also repeat it the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).

‘21 Days Later’ tells the sad story of a teenager who does everything he can to come up with the money his mother needs for her medications.

When he finally succeeds in coming up with the money, he suddenly realizes that all the hardship he had gone through to get that money was only the beginning.

The film’s synopsis reads, “It’s always the same! The last time the sky started getting cloudy, the weather became so wild that the storm could have pulled down the trees. It was pouring rain, the birds were screaming around their nests. One of the guys said he saw the sun flashing dim and light once or twice.”

Sareh Bayat, Amir-Hossein Seddiq, Hamidreza Azarang, Mehdi Qorbani and Sina Razani are among the cast members of the flick.

The 35th Fajr Film Festival and the 31st International Film for Children and Youth awarded Qorbani for his role in ’21 Days Later’.

The Iranian film was premiered at the ‘Soda-ye-Simorgh’ section of the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

Grabbing a nomination for Best Visual Effects Crystal Simorgh, ‘Twenty-one Days Later’ was among the most popular audience picks at the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

It has gone on screen at the 11th Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Australia, the 2018 Universal Kids Film Festival in Turkey, as well as the 4th Regina International Film Festival in Canada and received the Best Film award at the 25th Kinder Kino Film Festival in Germany as well as an award at the 2018 International Film Festival for Children and Youth - KINOLUB in Poland.
