Iran film ‘Valderrama’ to dedicate revenue to working children

Custodians of Iranian film ‘Valderrama’ plan to dedicate all revenue of the movie’s screening to help working children.

Directed by Abbas Amini, ‘Valderrama’ is about an Iranian boy in the southwestern city of Abadan whose conspicuous curly blond hair resembles the famous Colombian former football player Carlos Valderrama, so he is called by the same name.

‘Valderrama’ has so far participated in many international film festivals including the Exground Filmfest in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The flick has been previously nominated for 'best first film of a director' award in one section of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.
