Angel of Death to appear for Cyrus the Great in ‘Symphony No. 9’

Cyrus the Great has been getting ready to be seperated from earthly body by Angel of Death in Iranian movie ‘Symphony No. 9’.

Here is an ifilm cut from the movie where Cyrus the Great is giving his last wortds o his sons and companions.

He had been badly injured during the battle and now the Angel of Death is getting ready to reap him.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, the movie stars Hamid Farrokhnejad, Sareh Bayat, Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Mehrdad Seddiqiyan, Pejman Bazeghi, Hoda Zeynolabedin, Alireza Kamali, Marivin Vankhol, and Hamid Molana.

In ‘Symphony No.9’, Rahil is a surgeon and has lost her husband during surgery.

She decides to kidnap her husband’s body and bury him next to his parents based on his will, although her husband’s family disagrees.

On the way, Rahil confronts the Angel of Death and realizes she no longer has the chance to fulfill her husband’s wish.

But surprisingly the Angel of Death in his last mission on earth falls in love with Rahil instead of transporting her soul and this is against the rules!

Cyrus the Great was the founder of the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian Empire.

Under his rule, the empire embraced all the previous civilized states of the ancient Near East, expanded vastly and eventually conquered most of Western Asia and much of Central Asia.
