Mohammad Kart to direct ‘Surprise’

Iranian award-winning director Mohammad Kart is slated to direct new movie project.

Kart who has won multiple awards in various international festivals will be directing ‘Surprise’.

The social grotesque has a very new and unique atmosphere and is pretty different from ‘Butterfly Stroke’.

The primary edition script of ‘Surprise’ is currently ready and the crew will soon start next stage.

His previous movie ‘Butterfly Stroke’ was premiered in the 38th Fajr Film Festival and won awards.

‘Butterfly Stroke’ narrates the story of some ostracized people from the poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Tehran.

The people have to pretend to be strong if they want to survive the brutality of their environment.

Some top-rating Iranian actors such as Mohammad-Javad Ezzati, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Mahlaqa Baqeri, Pantea Bahram and Amir Aqaee star in the flick.
