Iranian documentary ‘Lady Quds of Iran’ was scheduled to premiere in Iranian cinemas before coronavirus pandemic.

The award-winning doc canceled screening due to the crisis and closure of cinemas.

The crew is analyzing the possibility of online screening for the film directed by Mostafa Razzaq-Karimi.

Otherwise, ‘Lady Quds of Iran’ will wait until the reopening of cinemas.

‘Lady Quds of Iran’ is produced by Iran Documentary & Experimental Film Center among other sponsors.

Razzaq-Karimi told local media Saturday that "Khadijeh Saqafi lived with Imam for more than 60 years and the film is about her life since birth."

The documentary was premiered at the 2017 edition of the Cinema Verite, Iran’s major international festival of documentary cinema.

It was named best documentary in the national competition the 11th Cinema Verite in December 2017.
