Sheffield Doc/Fest to screen ‘The Art of Living in Danger’

Iran-German doc ‘The Art of Living in Danger’ is to attend Sheffield Doc/Fest in the UK.

Iran-German documentary movie ‘The Art of Living in Danger’ has been scheduled to attend the Sheffield Doc/Fest in the UK.

Directed by Mina Keshavarz and produced by Gerd Haag, the feature-length doc will be in competition at the 27th edition of the English fest which will hold online over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each year, some women become victims to domestic violence. The film takes us along with some brave females who try to put an end to these sorts of offensive acts. What they want is to at least be safe within the boundaries of their own homes.

‘The Art of Living in Danger’ will have its world premiere at the Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival.

Two other Iranian documentaries which are ‘Gracefully’ directed by Arash Eshaqi and Ezzatollah Parvazeh‘s ‘Galena’ will also be running at the competition program of the UK fest.

Since its establishment in 1994, Sheffield Doc/Fest has become the UK's biggest documentary festival and the third largest in the world.

The fest is set to kick off today on June 10, 2020.
