Famed Iran actress directs music video featuring thespians

Famed actress Baran Kosari has directed music video featuring Iranian thespians starring in many ifilm series and movies.

The music video by ‘The Spiritualists’ female star features the likes of Navid Mohammadzadeh, Sahar Dolatshahi, Mehrdad Seddiqian and Setareh Pesyani.

The actors in the music video listen to traditional music titled 'You Leave Me, Why?' by popular vocalist Homayoun Shajarian.

Kosari has served at the jury panels of the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema in France and the 7th International Children Film Festival in Iran.

She has won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress for her role in the movie ‘Binam Alley’ (2014).

She was also nominated for the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in ‘Bewilderment’ (2007).

Meanwhile, she was nominated for an award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards Festival (Australia) for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in ‘Mainline’ (2006).

She earned a diploma of honor for her role in the same movie from the Fajr International Film Festival and an award from House of Cinema celebration.
