Iranian short ‘Hoda’s House’ is to compete at the Global Impact Film Festival in the US.

Iranian ‘Hoda’s House’ has been selected to compete at the 6th edition of the Global Impact Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Hamed Qasemi, the short title narrates the story of a girl named Hoda who lives in Tehran.

Hoda is surprised by her cousin’s arrival at her home.

She is on the horns of a dilemma and tries to deal with the situation.

But, her choice may be destructive. 

The cast of the film includes Sanaz Mesbah, Abolfazl Rashidi, Nasrin Nakisa, Arman Pirasteh, Yashar Faraji, Nesa Afrangeh and Mahmoud-Reza Ferdosi.

The Global Impact festival aims to showcase films with the theme of the emerging power of media for social justice.

The festival welcomes short film narratives and short film documentaries.

Informative panel discussions are part of the festival.

The event is scheduled for August 30, 2020.
