Italy ShorTS filmfest to host Iran animation ‘Red Point’

Iranian animation ‘Red Point’  has been selected to vie at the 18th edition of the ShorTS Int’l Film Festival in Italy.

Directed by Motahareh Ahmadpour has been selected to compete in the Maremetraggio Section of the Italian event.

Set in a surreal city, the classic 2D animation has strange characters. Everything changes in the city when a red point appears.

‘Red Point’ has already participated in many international film festivals including Arquiteturas Film Festival in Portugal Cine Campus in Spain.

According to the official website of the ShorTS International Film Festival is organized by Associazione Maremetraggio and is sponsored by Public and Private Entities.

The 18 edition of the festival will take place in Trieste, Italy from 1st to 8th July 2017.
