‘Truth Revealed’ star, Leila Otadi, explains ‘Dance with Me’ scenes for the sightless.

Star of ifilm’s ‘Truth Revealed’, Leila Otadi, has explained scenes of ‘Dance with Me’ for the visually impaired.

The actress has explained the scenes so that the sightless audiences can imagine what’s going on in the movie while hearing its sound.

Born in 1983, Otadi earned her Associate degree in Interior Architecture from the Tehran University of Art.

Her debut movie was ' The Black Eyes' directed by Iraj Qaderi in 2002.

Otadi has participated in various TV series, including 'Truth Revealed', 'Tears and Smiles', 'Blood Money' and 'The Wound'.

She has also appeared in the movies such as ‘Willow Tree', 'Left-Handed', 'Invitation', 'Looking For Happiness', 'The Outcasts 3', 'Messed Up', ‘Tulip’ and 'The Straw Dogs'.

She has begun reciting poems since she was 17 years old, and published her first book in 2014 under the title of  'In Heaven There is No Crow, Nor Scarecrow', which is a collection of poetry, in both Persian and English languages.

Directed by Soroush Sehhat, ‘Dance with Me’ which was premiered at the 37th Fajr film Festival in Iran recounts the story of a man’s last birthday.

“Jahangir’s friends have gathered together to celebrate his birthday for one last time. The situation prompts them to reflect upon themselves and their lives”, reads a brief synopsis for the film.

Ali Mossafa, Javad Ezzati, Hanieh Tavassoli, Pejman Jamshidi, Siavash Cheraghipour and Mehrab Qasemkhani are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Dance with Me’ has taken part at the 2019 edition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, the Iranian Film Festival Zurich in Switzerland, and the 59th Asia-Pacific Film Festival in China where it won the Special Jury Award.
