‘Just 6.5’ heads to Melbourne Int’l Film Festival

‘Just 6.5’ is to vie at the Melbourne Int'l Film Festival in Australia.

‘Just 6.5’ (6.5 per Meter), a feature film by Saeed Roustaee, has found place at the upcoming Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) in Australia.

Iranian acclaimed drama-thriller will be in the running at the 2020 edition of MIFF.

‘Just 6.5’ tells the story of a veteran narcotics officer and his squad who search every corner of the capital as they hunt down the city’s largest drug kingpin, and the complications involved in their mission.

Peyman Maadi, Navid Mohammadzadeh, Amir Jadidi, Parinaz Izadyar and Farhad Aslani make up the film’s main cast.

Some of the recent festival appearances of ‘Just 6.5’ include the 2020 Whānau Mārama: New Zealand Int’l Film Festival, the Jeonju Int’l Film Festival in South Korea, the 27th Prague Int’l Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the 12th Bengaluru Int’l Film Festival in India as well as the 18th Pune Int’l Film Festival (PIFF) in India.

Also worth mentioning that Iranian documentary ‘Sunless Shadows’ will attend the Melbourn Film Festival on behalf of Iran.  

MIFF is one of the world’s oldest film festivals and showcases exceptional filmmaking.

It provides filmmakers and audiences a transformative experience.

The 2020 edition will be held online on August 6-23, 2020.
