‘Anticlockwise’ to vie in Zagreb filmfest

Iranian documentary ‘Anticlockwise’ is slated to vie at the Zagreb Film Festival in Croatia.

The doc directed by Jalal Vafaei, will be screened at the main competition section of the event.

The film has previously competed at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.

Production of ‘Anticlockwise’ took eight years and narrates the story of an Iranian family that constantly are challenged by political situation inside Iran.

This year’s edition of the festival is slated to be held without international guests.

Zagreb Film Festival is one of the most attended and main events in Croatia.

The event aims to promote and present debut films and new filmmakers.

The festival is scheduled for November 2020.
