Iran actress Mahchehreh Khalili in retrospect

The recently demised actress, Mahchehreh Khalili, has played in several TV series, and in this feature, her works on the small screen are highlighted.

The actress made her acting debut on the small screen with the series 'Mokhtar Narrative' directed by Davood Mirbaqeri. In this series, she played the half-sister of Mokhtar and the wife of Omar bin Saad.

Playing a role in the historical series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ was Khalili's second TV experience. In this series, she played the mother of the main character named “Bijan Irani,” played by Parsa Pirouzfar. She depicted the character's transition from youth to senility.  

Wendy Simpson (an employee of the British Embassy in Iran) was a role played by Khalili in the series 'The Pahlavi Hat' directed by Seyyed-Ziaeddin Dorri. 

'Passing Through the Hardships' was yet another historical series featuring the actress. It was made in 2014.

ifilm series 'Stairway to Heaven' follows renowned 15th-century Iranian astronomer managed to make incredible scientific advances as he lived during the tumultuous times of Timurs Mongol's invasion. The actress played a role in this historical series as well.
