Scandinavian filmfest to screen Iran’s ‘Label’

The Scandinavian International Film Festival (SCIFF) in Finland has scheduled to screen Iranian short ‘Label’.

Directed by Mohammad Shahrestanaki, the short film will join the competition at the 5th edition of the Finnish event.

The film recounts the story of a man who is about to marry the cousin of his brother-in-law, but he suddenly changes his mind without giving any explanation.

Mehdi Qamar and Nima Qorbanzadeh are among the cast members of the flick.

The SCIFF is considered as a high-level cultural event in Helsinki, Finland.

Its objective is to highlight today’s conflicts such as racism, radicalism and human crises.

The 5th edition of the SCIFF is scheduled for August 22-26, 2020.

The well-recognized short film by Javad Daraee, ‘Limit’, is the other Iranian representative at the Finnish event.
