Afghan-Iranian ‘Seven and a Half’ reveals new trailer

Following online screening, Iranian-Afghan feature film ‘Seven and a Half’ has unveiled a new trailer.

Made by Navid Mahmoudi, the film narrates the story of seven Iranian and Afghan girls who are about to get married on a Friday night.

The film, shot in a long take, follows the girls’ challenges before they tie the knot.

Neda Jabraeeli, Shadi Mokhtari, Atieh Javid, Hasti Mahdavifar, Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari, Anahita Afshar, Alireza Kamalinejad, Fereshteh Hosseini, Hossein Mehri, Roya Javidnia, Hanieh Qasemi, Afsaneh Kamali, and Matin Heydarinia are some of the cast members.

The flick has attended a number of international events, including the Persian Film Festival in Australia, the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh.

‘Seven and a Half’ is now available on Video-on-Demand (VoD) platforms.
