Iranian feature film ‘Half’ directed by Bahman Kamyar has been scheduled to go on screen at the 11th edition of the Liege International Police Film Festival in Belgium.
The 70-minute movie will be screened in Persian language with French subtitle on May 6, at 3 pm in Room 5 of the Cinema Palace.
To be screened at Associative Show Times section which is out of competition, ‘Half’ tells the story of Azar who is a young girl that lives alone in cheap housing since the death of her father. She studies and works in a children's hospital to pay her bills.
Hasti Mahdavi, Hossein Soleimani, Negar Abedi, Afshin Sangchap, Farimah Farjami, Asha Mehrabi and Mirtaher Mazloumi are notable among the cast.
The 11th edition of the Liege International Police Film Festival is slated for May 4-7 in the Belgian city.
