US Sunnyside Shorts fest to host ‘Behind the Yellow Line’

The Sunnyside Shorts International Film Festival (SSIFF) in the US has been slated to host Iranian short film ‘Behind the Yellow Line’.

Written and directed by Javad Habibpour, the short will join the competition program at the 15th edition of the American film event.

The 20-minute flick narrates the story of a young boy and girl who wish to go to Europe illegally. While doing so, the girl finds out she is pregnant.

The cast list of the flick is comprised of Meysam Valikhani and Saharnaz Abbaszadeh.

Iranian award-winning short film ‘Echo’ has also been listed among the competing flicks at this year’s edition of the SSIFF.

The Sunnyside Shorts International Film Festival aims at bringing cultures together through the art of filmmaking.

The festival’s first virtual edition will announce the winners on September 26, 2020.
