Orlando Int’l Film Festival to screen ‘Untimely’

The 2020 Orlando Int'l Film Festival in the US is to screen Iranian feature ‘Untimely’.

The 2020 Orlando International Film Festival (OIFF) in the US is set to screen Iranian feature ‘Untimely’.

‘Untimely’, made by Pouya Eshtehardi, will participate in the Feature Film competition section of the American screening event.

Eshtehardi’ debut feature narrates the story of a young boy named Hamin who is doing his military service in a watchtower in the borderline of Iran and Pakistan. Hamin is planning to attend his sister’s wedding ceremony when he gets into a fight with his commander.

‘Untimely’ features Iman Afshar, Shayan Afshar, Ayyoub Afshar, Mahsa Narouee, Ava Azarpira, and Mollabakhsh Raeesi.  

Included in the long list of the international awards received by the film are the Excellence award at the 11th IndieFEST Film Awards, the best feature award from the 32nd Dallas VieoFest’s Alternative Fiction as well as the Best World Cinema Feature award at the 24th KC FilmFest International, all in the US. 

The flick is also scheduled to go on screen at the 11th One Country One Film Apchat-Issoire International Film Festival to be held in France on August 31-September 06, 2020.  

The Orlando In’l Film Festival is an opportunity for all filmmakers around the world to improve the quality of life through sharing the movies of all cultures.

The latest edition of the Orlando filmfest is scheduled for September 15-25, 2020 in Florida.
