ifilm English TV to start airing ‘Breach’

Airing of the Iranian series ‘Breach’ has been scheduled to start on August 23, 2020.

Produced by Masoud Atyabi and directed by Hossein Tabrizi, ‘Breach’ tells the story of Vahid, whose wife, Masoumeh, is not able to conceive a child after 20 years of marriage.

Vahid, who is a veteran of the Iraq-Iran war, is happily married to Masoumeh.

After years of prayers and longing, Masoumeh becomes pregnant; but soon after, Vahid is diagnosed with leukemia.

More troubles come in Vahid’s way when his unruly childhood friend, Safa, comes back to the neighborhood with revenge on his mind.

As Vahid grows weaker and weaker each day, Safa makes life even harder for him.

Among the cast list are Atash Taqipour, Mina Jafarzadeh, Alireza Jalali-Tabar, Ashkan Eshtiaq, Amir Ghaffarmanesh, Enayat Bakhshi, Ziba Boroufeh, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, Zahra Saeedi, Rahim Norouzi, and Afshin Sangchap.

‘Breach’, produced in 2013, is to temporarily replace the series ‘The Final Game’, to be broadcast at 19:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 (all GMT time). ‘Breach’ is comprised of 11 segments.
