In an emotional social media post, Stone, 62, pointed to the 2020 presidential election as a matter of life and death as the coronavirus outbreak claimed the lives of two members of her family and has sent her sister and brother-in-law to the hospital.
“You are at great risk of dying from COVID,” the Oscar-nominated star said in a somber video message, blaming Trump for his actions.
The outspoken actress said that the US officials are lying about testing, “When they say there are tests for everyone, they are lying. When they say there are tests even for the nurses in the hospitals, they are lying. People are dying and fighting for their lives because there’s nothing but lies.”
Stone’s emotional video also laid the over 200,000 Americans who have died from COVID-19 since March at Trump’s feet.
She concluded her message to her fellow Americans saying that, "Please vote. And please, whatever you do, don't vote for a killer."
The actress is known to her fans as being so open about her political ideas. She criticized Trump for Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani’s martyrdom with posting a video of the magnificent funeral ceremony held in the Iranian city of Ahvaz to bid farewell to the Iranian anti-terror commander who was martyred in drone strike in Iraq by the US.
