‘Intense’ to go on screen at Loudoun Arts filmfest

The Loudoun Arts filmfest in the US is to show Iran short ‘Intense’.

The Loudoun Arts Film Festival (LAFF) in the US has scheduled to show Iranian short flick ‘Intense’.

Written and directed by Shirin Sabour, the short film will be screened at the International Shorts competition section of the first edition of the US fest.

The short film is about Nader who has a sick child and have to do something outside.

Before he leaves his home, which is about to be demolished, he calls his sister and asks her to come over to look after the child.

When his sister arrives, she finds out that Nader has already left.

Behzad Khalaj, Fatemeh Neishabouri, Faezeh Yousefi and Mohaddeseh Mirzapour are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Intense’ has already taken part at a number of global events, including the Rosarito International Film Festival in the US, the Sylhet Film Festival in Bangladesh, and the Venice International Film Festival in Italy.

Iranian short film ‘The Blue Bed’ will also be screened at the LAFF.

The mission set for the LAFF is to showcase innovative and compelling movies to entertain its audiences.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s edition of the fest is launched online on the official website of the LAFF on August 27.

Also, following the social distancing protocols, the event will be held in person via Drive-In on September 10-13 and 17-19 in Middleburg.
