ifilm English TV to air 'Tabriz in Fog' finale

ifilm has scheduled to air the final episode of the series 'Tabriz in Fog' on Monday night.

The series finale will be aired at 23:00 GMT and it will be replayed the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, story of the series takes place in the 19th century, when European imperial powers are immersed in colonial wars of aggression, with Iran caught in the middle.

The French and English each plot and manipulate to gain control over the then-king of Iran, while the Russian army mounts an attack against the country.

As the King stumbles along, he seems more interested in the pleasures of life in the palace than the welfare of the country.

In the province of Tabriz, however, the Crown Prince fights valiantly to keep the Russian invaders at bay.

Notable on the cast list are Kourosh Tahami, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Elham Hamidi, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Faqiheh Soltani, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Majid Mozaffari, Rozita Ghaffari, Hessam Navvab-Safavi, the late Mohammad Motee, and the late Jamshid Mashayekhi.

The series will be replaced by 'The Redemption' directed by Sirous Moqaddam.
