Saman Hosseinpour to judge at Int'l Film Festival Golden Beggar

Iranian filmmaker Saman Hosseinpour has been selected to judge at the 26th edition of the International Film Festival Golden Beggar in Slovakia.

The 27-year-old Iranian filmmaker has written and directed eight short films and, so far, he has participated in more than 100 national and international events where he garnered several awards.

He has also been a jury member at the Early Bird International Student Film Festival in Bulgaria and the International Film Festival in Mexico.

Some of his shorts that took part at several festivals before and won him awards are ‘Slaughter’ and ‘The Other’.

Other members of the jury panel at the Slovak festival are from Switzerland, Italy, Serbia, and Slovakia.

The Golden Beggar festival aims to bring the audience a rich program by holding workshops and lectures. It awards creative and successful films.

The event is slated to be held on October 21-25, 2020.
