‘Abadan 11 60’ unveils new poster

Iranian movie ‘Abadan 11 60’ has released new official poster.

The 38th Fajr Film Festival contender by Mehrdad Khoshbakht, which is currently on the silver screen in Iran, has released a new poster featuring main cast.

The film was previously screened at the main competition section of the 2020 Fajr filmfest where it succeeded to receive the Golden Simorgh. It was also selected by the audience as one of the top five films.

‘Abadan 11 60’ is a narrative of Abadani’s cavalry during the beginning of Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

The film also depicts how, back then at the war time, the crews of the city’s radio station stayed put at their work place to give people hope that the victory was so close. They did so under the fire of an unjust war.

Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Vida Javan, Hassan Majouni, Nader Soleimani, Hamid-Reza Mohammadi and Shabnam Goudarzi are among the cast members of the flick.
