Iranian news agencies reported that Mojtaba Pourbakhsh’s short film ‘Goodbye Olympics’ was named the best film at the Olympic Games/Olympic Ideas section of the 24th Sport Film Liberec in the Czech Republic.

The award ceremony of the festival will be held on October 1, 2020.

Iran’s ‘The Hands’, directed by Parviz, Rajaee, also won the best foreign-language documentary at the fifth edition of the Love International Film Festival (LIFF) in the US.

Iranian animated short film ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ by Mahdiyeh Sadadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, is the next on the list, which was awarded at the same festival.

In Italy, the LIFE AFTER OIL International Film Festival granted the Iranian documentary ‘Khatemeh’, directed by Hadi and Mehdi Zarei, the Jury Special Mention.

Iranian documentary ‘Branches and Brushes’ by Komeil Soheili won the 2nd prize in the Religious Movie Competition of the 6th edition of the VIVA Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was held online on September 16-20.
