‘The Men of Angelos’ to make a return on ifilm

ifilm’s ‘The Men of Angelos’ has been scheduled to go on air from November 5, 2020.

The series, produced by Mohsen Ali-Akbari and directed by the late filmmaker Farajollah Salahshour, narrates a Quranic story.

This is the story of a group of men deeply troubled by the way their faith is being tainted by false beliefs and the spread of atheism.

They live in an age when the faithful are being suppressed.

They try to use their influence to change things, but in the end, the men of Angelos are forced to flee rather than surrender to tyranny.

They take refuge in a cave outside town and fall asleep out of exhaustion.

The next day or so they wake up in an entirely different era.

The cast list of the series includes Reza Tavakkoli, Nasser Forough, Jafar Dehqan, Mohammad-Reza Iranmanesh, Mahtab Keramati, Hossein Yari, Ardalan Shoja-Kaveh, and Zohreh Safavi.

‘The Men of Angelos’, made in 1998, will be aired daily at 20:00 GMT. It will replace ‘Avicenna’.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00 (all GMT times). ‘The Men of Angelos’ is comprised of 18 episodes.
