A 2006 production, the film is Mehrdad Seddiqian’s second film after ‘Friday Evening’ in which he gained acclamations from critics.
However, the young actor made a big name by appearing in Sirous Moqaddam’s family drama ‘Madineh’.
Directed by Kioumars Pourahmad, the film is a Sacred Defense drama based on a true story.
The director told the media in a press conference that “In the genre of sacred defense, one can search for any concept from high religious values to social relations.”
He added that the reason that the film is shot in black and white refers to his hatred of blood. So he has tried to neutralize this problem by using black and white method.
