‘That Night’s Train’ to vie at China Int’l Children's filmfest

Iranian movie ‘That Night’s Train’ is slated to vie at the China International Children's Film Festival.

Iranian movie ‘That Night’s Train’ is slated to vie at the China International Children's Film Festival.

Directed by Hamid-Reza Qotbi, the film will vie at the main competition section of the 2020 edition of the event.

‘That Night’s Train’ narrates the story of a little girl who meets a female writer when she was on a train. The writer promises to call and visit her later.

The promise, in the writer’s mind, is just a theme for her new story, thus embarking on a merge of fantasy with reality.

Helped by her father and some other people, the girl attempts to overcome her concerns and this leads to amazing adventures.

The cast includes names such as Siamak Safari, Maryam Boubani, and Bahram Shakeri.

‘That Night’s Train’ was premiered at the 49th Roshd International Film Festival in Iran in 2019.

China International Children's Film Festival (CICFF) is not only a significant international exchange event for children’s films, but also an important stage for the state to boost children’s film education. It will provide the children with film dreams in their hearts many opportunities to learn and communicate.

The festival will be held on November 22-30, in Guangzhou, China.
